Depending on which medical plan you choose to enroll in, you will have access to one of two tools to help you set aside money to be used for medical expenses. These tools are either an HSA or FSA.
If you enroll in one of the two HDHP/HSA medical plans, you can establish a Health Savings Account for yourself.
If you enroll in the PPO medical plan, you have the option to open a Flexible Spending Account where you can elect to deposit a specific pre-taxed amount from each paycheck that can be used for covered medical expenses.
